investment and boost business and leisure tourism in the

Regional Marketing Forum
The Regional Marketing Forum is a partnership of
organisations whose aims are to improve the image of England’s
Northwest in the UK and overseas. The efforts of the Forum, which
serves to coordinate marketing across the region, are focused on
the themes of business, culture, education, environment and
tourism.

the image of the region. It also produces a range of literature,
videos and websites to promote the region to a wide and varied

The public relations activity of the Agency serves to bolster
marketing efforts and add further credibility to the region’s
image. Influencing national and regional media to provide positive
coverage for both the region and the activities of the Agency helps
to overcome negative perceptions of the Northwest and build a
positive image.

to promote or endorse their own part of the region. It is an
integral aspect of the NWDA’s marketing activities and the
marketing activity of partners. The brand underpins a strong
regional identity, ensuring consistent messages and images of
