Films - See England's Northwest

From time to time the NWDA commissions short films to promote the work of the Agency or its projects around the region.

The series of culture films available in the Player (below) was commissioned to promote the wide-ranging cultural offering in England's Northwest, showcasing some of the important, but sometimes less publicised activites in the region. One of this series, "The Beautiful North " won a major award for tourism and leisure advertising. It features Northwest luminaries such as Sue Johnson, Johnny Vegas, David Morrisey, Craig Cash, Maxine Peake, Ian Brody, Howard Jakobson, Badly Drawn Boy and The Zootons
