South Lakeland: Knowledge-based Employment Land Search and Assessment

South Lakeland: Knowledge-based Employment Land Search and AssessmentThe Consultant Team of Knight Frank, Arup and Carigiet Cowen were instructed by the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA) to undertake an independent study of sites with the potential for knowledge-based employment use within the Kendal area and assess their suitability in terms of market attractiveness, physical constraints and acceptability in planning terms.  The study will provide a robust assessment of alternative sites that can be used as part of the evidence base to inform both the preparation of the core strategy of the South Lakeland District Council (SLDC) Local Development Framework (LDF) and site specific allocations within the relevant LDF documents.
